Whistler Village Breakfast Lowdown

If you’re looking for a spot smack-dab in the heart of the Village Stroll, we’ve got a few places that are a leisurely walk to a yummy breakfast!

  • 4205 Village Square, Whistler, BC

This little coffee shop and café combo is smack dab in the middle of Village Square, and it’s almost too good to be true.

Take a few steps from your hotel towards Gone Village Eatery and you’re moments away from scarfing down delicious breakfast staples like eggs benedict, organic teas, coffees, and pastries!

There is one caveat, however: With this fantastic location and delicious food, you’re liable to have to wait in line. So make sure you get there before the crowd – the locals love it!

Wildwood Cafe – Function Junction

  • 1085 Millar Creek Road, Whistler, BC
  • $$

This is one of our favourite spots to eat – especially for breakfast. Located a little farther out of town, Wildwood Cafe is worth the drive.

With their giant serving sizes and delicious signature breakfast options like Eggs Rockefeller or the Jumbo (think eggs, pancakes, bacon, and French toast), you won’t be left hungry.

This casual eatery will set you back about  $9-13 per person and is open for business early, around 7 am, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your breakfast and make the most of your day.

  • $$$

This delightful kitchen is the ultimate comfort food provider, aiming to nourish your body and your soul.

Stonesedge Kitchen prides itself on modern Canadian cooking with all the sustainable foods you need without any unnecessary complexity.

Breakfast is served from 9 am through 1 pm, perfect for those early-but-not-too-early risers who want a comforting breakfast before hitting the town.

Hundo-P

  • 4211 Sunshine Place, Whistler, BC – Next to the grocery store.
  • $

Not big on a heavy breakfast before a day either out on the slopes or in the bike park? That’s okay because Hundo-P Smoothie Bar has the perfect solution.

Yep, you guessed it: breakfast smoothies. And not just the old run-of-the-mill fruit zapped in a blender, either. These smoothies are filling and pack a ton of energy.

The Nutz and Boltz is our go-to, with organic walnuts, peanut butter, banana, organic dates, organic cacao nibs, organic cinnamon, chocolate almond milk, and protein powder all mixed into one.

Hundo P has a large selection, each item as tasty as the next and customizable to make vegan.

Not just another coffee shop, Mount Currie Coffee is a local favourite for its consistently delicious coffee and selection of breakfast items.

Their breakfast burrito is perfect for those wanting a filling meal on the go, and the breakfast sando is a new and popular choice.

Their latte art is always impressive; however, it doesn’t last as their coffee is too delicious to just stare into and sip. So instead, pair it with some chocolate croissants for a sweet morning pick-me-up.

From Thursday – Sunday at 9 am, Ed and his team bake their pastries and bread daily using organic ingredients, creating an all-vegan selection. And everything is incredible.

The cinnamon rolls are a staple in our Eds Bred order. However, we recommend keeping your eye out for the daily special. They are always adding something new to the menu.
