The Ultimate Guide to a Whistler New Years Eve 2019

New years eve 2019 banner

Sure, we haven’t made it to Christmas day yet (heck, we haven’t even made it to Thanksgiving!), but we’re all thinking about the same thing – what we’ll do for our New Years Eve. Its time for you to start planning now, to get the perfect outfit, the perfect setting, and the perfect cocktail to set the stage for 2019. Whistler’s New Years Eve 2019 is going to us faster than a blink of an eye.

Luckily, Whistler has some of the most exciting events, celebrations, and activities around to help you welcome the new year. Of course ever night club is going to be poppin’ (much more so than usual), but there are also going to be posh dinners, classy balls, and much more to attend.

Even if you’re hoping for a family-friendly event where you can bring the kids? No matter what you’re after, Whistler has it.

If 2018 wasn’t your jam, and you want to make sure you send it into the distant past with a bang, make Whistler your destination for New Years Eve 2019.

Hot Tip: Book Accommodations NOW

Time is ticking, its time to book for a Whistler New Year’s Eve now

New Years Eve is one of the biggest events in this small mountain town. While we are typically overflowing with boutique hotels and budget accommodations, all rules go out the window leading up to the holidays.

If you haven’t already, you’ll want to get your credit card out and make accommodation bookings now. At the time of writing (Oct 2018), Expedia was already listing the cheapest hotel room in Whistler for Dec 31st as $1073, and, most importantly, THERE WERE ONLY 3 options AVAILABLE. Everywhere else was sold out, even the most expensive options!

We did another quick search on AirBnB, for the weekend leading up to Dec 31, 2018 in Whistler and the options were a bit better and less expensive.  All is not lost! But, we expect these to fill up as people start panicking.

If you haven’t booked, its time to do so now!
