Axe Throwing FAQ

What is Axe Throwing?

Just like the name implies, we throw axes and pretty soon you will too! Axe throwing is a really fun, social, and satisfying way to spend some time while you’re in Whistler. It’s a great activity for small groups or large groups as well.

Our team at Forged will teach you everything you need to know and you will not believe how satisfying it is when you hit your first bullseye!

  • Is there an age limit?
  • Yes. You must be over 10 years old to participate and have a legal guardian accompanying you if you’re under 16.

  • Do you sell liquor?
  • No we do not. We are not a licensed premise so we cannot sell liquor or allow BYOB.

However! We are right beside two amazing breweries: Coast Mountain Breweryand Whistler Brewing

  • Where can I get food?
  • Axe throwing can build up an appetite, trust us, we get it! Luckily there’s lots of food options in Function Junction!

Wild Wood Cafe is just down the street from us and it’s delicious! They make awesome pastas, sandwiches, and breakfasts.

Pure Bread is a few doors down and their baked goods are unreal!

Olives Community Market is two doors down and they have a selection of sandwiches and a salad bar.

Whistler Brewing has some delicious pizzas and sammys.

Delish is a quick walk down Alpha Lake Rd and they always have a wicked lunch special on.

Just beside Delish is an awesome bakery called 200 Degrees, you HAVE to try their pretzel bread buns, so good just on their own but I bet they would make an epic sandwich.

  • Can I wear shorts/leggings/yoga pants/short shorts?
  • Oh yeah you can! Rock those shorts and show off those sweet leg gainz you’ve been working on! As long as you wear closed toe shoes and your attire isn’t horribly offensive to us you’re welcome to be comfortable!

  • Can I leave my kids there while I go to the brewery?
  • No….

We love hosting awesome axe throwers who are over 10 years old but if they’re under 16 they do need to be accompanied by at least one chaperone for the group. We’re awesome axe throwers but not great baby sitters.

Unattended children will be fed Red Bull, taught how to chop down furniture, given an axe, and let loose on your living room.
